My Little Pony.
Bet you didn’t consider that those colorful little ponies could be great additions to your teaching resources or classroom activities, did you?
You may not even know, but the books and my little pony episodes cover really great topics for preschool lessons and kindergarten age kids (and even older if you really have some pony obsessed kids)!
With a My Little Pony theme, you’ll be able to incorporate learning in a fun way on topics like:
• Asking for Help
(See? I told you MLP wouldn’t let you down!)
Most of all, these videos and activities are all so fun that your kiddos won’t even realize what great life lessons they’re learning!
Friendship is Magic and My Little Pony Episodes
In case you aren’t familiar with these little ponies, Friendship is Magic is the animated version of the pony toys from well, way back. (There was another animated series of Tales featuring them in the early 90s.)
I’ll let Wikipedia summarize it for you:
The show follows a studious anthropomorphic unicorn pony named Twilight Sparkle as her mentor Princess Celestia guides her to learn about friendship in the town of Ponyville. Twilight becomes close friends with five other ponies: Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie. Each of the ponies represent a different facet of friendship, and Twilight discovers herself to be a key part of the magical artifacts known as the “Elements of Harmony”. The ponies travel on adventures and help others around Equestria while working out problems that arise in their own friendships.
