Hispanic Heritage Month allows us to honor and recognize the contributions and lives of Hispanic and Latinx people. It also allows us to celebrate diversity and learn about different cultures, an important party of learning for kids!

Whats the difference in Hispanic and Latino?
Hispanic and Latino (Latinx) are often used interchangeably. However, they do have distinct meanings. Hispanic refers to those from Spanish-speaking areas. Latino refers to those who come from Latin American countries, regardless of the language they speak.
Some people call this month Latino History Month, too!
