Roll the dice and then turn down any tiles with different numbers that add up to the sum of the dice.

SKYJO Math Card Game
SKYJO happens to be one of our favorite maths games and I happen to think it’s on of the best math games for your homeschool or classroom because you’re practicing addition and subtraction with positive and negative numbers.
Players place cards face down in a grid in front of them. The goal of the game is to get as few points as possible by drawing and/or swapping cards. When someone gets to 100 points (over the course of several hands), the person with the lowest score wins.
*We adapted this to just play rounds (“hands”) and not keep score. We play hands as the first person to turn over their all their cards, then the hand ends. Then, all players must turn over all their cards and tally (adding and subtracting) their score. Person with lowest score wins. We found playing hands instead of an entire game to 100 is better because it’s faster and we can stop whenever we want.
Great for practicing adding, subtracting, and even positive numbers and negative numbers!
This is definitely one of those cool math games that you can play with a variety of ages and is one of our go to math games. (We’re including this as one of the best math games for adults, too, because my husband and I like playing it with just us!)

Multiplication Splat Maths Card Game
In Splat! Math, the caller reads an answer. The players must scan their cards and see if they have the math facts for that answer. If they do, they say “SPLAT!” and flip the card face down. The first person to flip all their cards face down wins the game.
They also have Splat Addition, Splat Subtraction and other Spat games that aren’t math topics.
