Highlight paper, or that lined paper often with red and blue lines and a dotted line in the middle, is often used for beginning writing, especially starting in kindergarten. There are many educational experts today that are recommending that preschoolers not use lined paper until they’ve progressed to writing sentences.
Better to hold off on the lined paper for pre k materials. Give them plain paper or other ways to write and create and wait for highlight lined writing paper like this for homeschooling supplies for kindergarten!

3. Play-Doh: Play-Doh is a perfect addition for preschool school supplies and for helping your child develop fine motor skills.
They can also use it to create whatever they can dream up.
Creative play should be a large portion of your home preschooling because kids learn so much through self-directed play.

10. Magnetic Tiles: Magnetic tiles are another versatile homeschooling supply.
Your preschool child can use them to build structures, practice counting, or just have fun creating designs.

You can make a sensory table, or make preschool sensory bins, sensory bags, or even sensory jars if you want something more portable.
There are wide ranges of sensory tables on the market — from this super cool one all the way to this inexpensive sensory table that can be used indoors or outside.
Felt Board
A felt board is a great way to help your child learn about shapes, colors, and letters.
You can also use it to tell stories or play simple games.
My daughter used our learning felts a great deal as a young child and loved them, so definitely check into them for your homeschool supply list. (We had this felt Bible and she played with it and retold the stories ALL the time!)

They can use it to trace letters, shapes, or pictures from books.
Then, they can practice cutting out what they’ve made on their tracing paper!
You can grab a pack of tracing paper at any box store or craft store.
Stencils
Stencils are a great way for your child to practice their cutting skills.
They can also use them to trace shapes, letters, or numbers.
My daughter had fun with inexpensive packs of stencils like this (also keep an eye out for them at dollar stores) and our big roll of art paper.
I love that we could just unroll some paper on floor, throw out some crayons and stencils and have a fun project!
TIP: For preschool art projects, be sure that you get the durable plastic stencils that have large, basic shapes (and not the intricate stencils). Check these out for an example.

Homeschool kits for preschool are a fun way to get different in different learning.
