The Star is an animated movie that follows a small donkey named Bo. He is bored with his life at the village mill, so one day he runs away. Along the way he collects friends–Ruth, a sheep, and Dave, a dove, and three “wise-cracking” camels named Deborah, Cyrus, and Phoenix (along with some other stable animals).
Bo and his friends soon find themselves in a serious situation when they need to warn Mary of King Herod’s intention.
Not only is this a fun movie to incorporate into your studies of the first Christmas, but it also covers other topics like following your dreams, bravery/courage, and bullying.
